I’ve had no big issues so far with the new pfSense version, although it’s still a beta. I especially like the OpenVPN and Dashboard improvements, and the LDAP auth support. I still have to experiment with the Layer 7 QOS / Traffic Shape features.

Had some problems booting the latest pfSense ALPHA on my ALIX.

UPDATE: migrated virtual freebsd installation to a native one. Installed OS X on macbook instead of Linux

Na 5 daagjes Leopard, ben ik er vrij tevreden over:
Negatief
- GEEN JAVA 6 !!! – Ik hoop dat dit zo snel mogelijk in orde komt daar ik dit nodig heb voor mijn studies. En dan zijn de problemen met de Netbeans UML module ook van de baan. Windows gebruiken doe ik liefst zo weinig mogelijk.
